About Keane
Keane is an artist based in Houston, Texas. She has always enjoyed artistic and creative pursuits and have engaged in drawing, dancing, and playing the harp. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography/Digital Media (2020) and M.Ed. Curriculum & Instruction - Art Education (2022) from the University of Houston.
Following her high school graduation, she formed her own portrait photography business, Keane Irene Photography, capturing clients authentically and artistically.
Keane is also a K-5 Art Educator, striving to spark creativity in all who walk through her door.
S T A T E M E N T :
My practice employs photography and video to explore the interconnecting narratives of being an adoptee. I believe there's something inspiring about sharing with transparency, empathy, and creativity.
